qigong is an ancient chinese practice rooted in chinese medicine that helps clear, balance, and cultivate energy through gentle movement, breath, sound, and visualization; think of qigong as comprising highly specialized forms of active meditation— and a little bit like tai chi.
a conceptual primer on working with energy will be offered followed by interactive instruction of foundational qigong practices.
there will also be time for journaling, group sharing, and conversation to support our practice and enrich our community.
an awareness of our personal energy and the innate ability to heal ourselves is a human birthright that many of us have forgotten; as such, one of the primary goals of this workshop is to offer accessible instruction of qigong and basic energy principles to the community.
please come dressed comfortably in clothes you can move in and be prepared to bare your feet!
